Brett CHEN
Dr. Chen Ruihan graduated from Sun Yat-sen Medical College, Sun Yat-sen University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine. Subsequently, he worked in the Emergency Department of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University for seven years, where he completed national standardized residency training and emergency specialist physician training, qualifying as an Attending Physician. During his tenure, he pursued further studies at Sun Yat-sen University School of Medicine and obtained a Master of Medicine degree.
In 2015, Dr. Chen joined United Family Healthcare (UFH) to participate in the U.S. Emergency Medicine specialist training program. He worked at Shanghai United Family Hospital and Beijing United Family Hospital before traveling to the SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Hospital in New York in 2017 for clinical studies. He has been working at Guangzhou United Family Hospital since 2018.
Dr. Chen has accumulated extensive experience in emergency medicine and is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of acute conditions across internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and ENT. Additionally, Dr. Chen holds various certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA), including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). He has provided medical support for major events such as the Guangzhou Marathon and participated as a UFH expert in the Han Hong Love Charity Foundation’s “Aid to Gansu” mission.
