Yongyi CUI
Dr. Cui Yongyi graduated from Guangzhou Medical University in 1985 and worked in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center until 2018. During this period, she pursued advanced studies at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center in 1999 and at Prince of Wales Hospital, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, from 2003 to 2004.
Dr. Cui has over 20 years of clinical experience. she specializes in common and frequent diseases in obstetrics and gynecology, with particular expertise in perinatal medicine management. She possesses extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of complications and comorbidities during the pre-conception, pregnancy, labor, and postpartum periods. She has conducted in-depth research on fetal abnormalities, gestational diabetes, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Hepatitis B (Hepatitis B virus carriers), preterm labor, twin pregnancies, and placenta previa. She is skilled in various obstetric surgical procedures, including difficult labor management, assisted delivery, various types of Cesarean sections, and the surgical management of postpartum hemorrhage.
Dr. Cui obtained the National Psychological Counselor qualification in 2011. She also pursued advanced studies and training at Guangzhou Brain Hospital to provide psychological counseling for pregnant and postpartum women.
Dr. Cui currently serves as an expert member of the Guangdong Medical Malpractice Appraisal team, a member of the Guangzhou Women’s Work Committee, a member of the Diabetes Branch of the Guangdong Perinatal Society, and an expert consultant for the Guangdong Doctor-Patient Mediation Committee.
