Xunan GONG
Dr. Gong Xunan graduated from Jilin University in 2011 and subsequently joined the Department of Intensive Care Medicine at Jilin Provincial People’s Hospital. He completed his standardized residency training in 2014 and was appointed as an Attending Physician in 2015. His primary work involved the perioperative management of pediatric congenital heart disease and adult cardiac and great vessel surgeries, as well as postoperative monitoring and treatment for departments such as neurosurgery, orthopedics, vascular surgery, urology, and general surgery. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of septic shock, ARDS, and MODS, as well as the emergency rescue and treatment of various critical illnesses in internal medicine.
Prior to joining Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Dr. Gong Xunan worked in the Surgical ICU/Organ Transplantation ICU of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He is skilled in the perioperative management of liver and kidney transplantation, maintenance and support therapy for organ functions, brain death determination, and the management of patients undergoing IABP and ECMO treatments. He is proficient in routine ICU procedures, including endotracheal intubation, ventilator management, critical care ultrasound, fiberoptic bronchoscopy treatment, hemodynamic monitoring using PiCCO and Swan-Ganz catheters, as well as arterial and venous catheterization.
