Professional Specialties

  • Expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of complex neurological diseases, such as cerebrovascular diseases, cognitive impairment (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease), Parkinson’s disease, anxiety and depressive disorders, epilepsy, myasthenia gravis, and multiple sclerosis.
  • Focused on Electroencephalogram (EEG)-driven early screening and stratification of cognitive risks for brain diseases (covering Alzheimer’s disease, anxiety, depression, headache, sleep disorders, and rare neurological diseases), exploring individualized intervention paths combined with neuromodulation techniques such as repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS).

Medical Experience

  • Nearly 40 years of clinical experience in the Department of Neurology at Tongji Hospital and Shenzhen People’s Hospital, with extensive experience in treating difficult, complex, acute, and critical cases.
  • Founded Shenzhen’s first Neurological Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and China’s largest non-invasive neuromodulation center, driving the development of regional neurological intensive care and non-invasive neuromodulation.

Academic Achievements

  • Principal Investigator for multiple national (NSFC), provincial, and municipal research projects; first-place recipient of the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Award and the second-place recipient of the Shenzhen Scientific and Technological Achievement Award.
  • Pioneered the Resting-State EEG-based Cognitive Risk Screening System (E-CDS) for brain function assessment in diseases like Alzheimer’s (research published in a journal with IF=13).
  • Developed the world’s first screening scale for somatic symptom disorders, Neuro-11, over a period of 14 years (published in a journal with IF=11).
  • Holds 10 intellectual property rights (including 4 invention patents, 4 software copyrights, and 2 clinical translation results).
  • Editor-in-chief of China’s first monograph, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for Neurological Diseases (published by Science Press).
  • Consistently organized nine sessions of the “International Advanced Forum on Brain Cognition and Neuromodulation,” promoting international academic exchanges.
