• Specializes in cataract extraction combined with intraocular lens implantation (Phaco and MSICS), strabismus correction, ocular trauma surgery, pterygium excision, and oculoplastic surgery (including micro-aesthetic suturing, double eyelid surgery, eye bag removal, entropion correction, and eyelid tumor excision).
• Expert in laser treatment for various fundus diseases and anterior segment conditions.
• Specializes in myopia prevention and control, Ortho-K lens fitting, and management of complications.
• Skilled in the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP).
• Expert in personalized treatment for dry eye syndrome.

Education Background

• Graduated from University of South China (formerly Hengyang Medical College) in 2008.
• Studied for a Master’s degree at Zhongshan Medical College, Sun Yat-sen University from 2008 to 2010.
• Obtained a Master of Science in Ophthalmology and Visual Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2010 to 2011.
• Obtained a PhD in Ophthalmology from Jinan University from 2019 to 2023.

Medical Experience

• Completed standardized residency training in ophthalmology at Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital.
• Possesses over 15 years of clinical practice experience.
• In 2016, joined the Chinese medical team for a medical aid mission to the Republic of Ghana and was awarded the title of “Outstanding Member.”
• In September 2023, led a team to the Republic of Ghana and completed nearly 100 “Bright Journey” cataract surgeries.

Academic Achievements

• Principal Investigator for one project of the Guangdong Medical Science Foundation and one Guangzhou Science and Technology Plan project.
• Published several academic articles in American and domestic core journals.
