Education Background
- Completed 4 years of advanced clinical training at the Cleveland Clinic, USA.
- Graduated from Sun Yat-sen University School of Medicine in 2005. Subsequently obtained Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the First Affiliated Hospital and the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, respectively.
Medical Experience
- In 2010, joined the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University as a talent recruited under the “Hundred Talents Program” of Sun Yat-sen University.
- Has served as Associate Researcher, Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor, and Chief Physician in the Department of Gastrointestinal and Anorectal Surgery.
Academic Achievements
- Published over 70 SCI papers in clinical medicine.
- Principal Investigator (PI) for 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and 7 provincial or ministerial-level research projects.
- Recipient of the Guangdong Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund.
- Published a total of 76 SCI papers (18 as first author) and 24 Chinese articles.
- Presented posters 12 times at international oncology-related conferences (including ASCO, DDW, ASCRS, and ASA) and delivered 2 oral presentations (ASCRS, DDW).
