Lin Xianyi
Professor Lin Xianyi graduated from Sun Yat-sen University in 2005 and subsequently obtained his Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Sun Yat-sen University in 2008 and 2016, respectively. He joined the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University in 2008, where he completed his standardized residency training and attending physician training in internal medicine in 2012 and 2019, respectively. He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common internal diseases and the emergency rescue of critical illnesses. In 2020, he obtained the qualification of Associate Chief Physician at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.
Professor Lin has extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of common gastroenterological diseases, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), functional gastrointestinal disorders, peptic ulcers, acute pancreatitis, and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He specializes in the early diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors and precancerous lesions. He is an expert in the medical and endoscopic treatment of portal hypertension caused by liver cirrhosis, with mastery of endoscopic ligation, tissue glue injection, and sclerotherapy for esophageal and gastric variceal bleeding. He is also skilled in the medical treatment of viral hepatitis cirrhosis, alcoholic liver disease, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Additionally, he specializes in ERCP treatment for biliary and pancreatic diseases, particularly possessing rich clinical experience in the endoscopic treatment of common bile duct stones, anastomotic strictures after liver transplantation, bile leaks, and malignant biliary strictures.
Professor Lin Xianyi is a member of the Digestive Endoscopy Branch of the Guangdong Medical Doctor Association, a member of the Youth Physician Professional Group of the Digestive Endoscopy Branch of the Guangdong Medical Doctor Association, and a member of the Fatty Liver Professional Committee of the Guangdong Liver Disease Association. He has also been recognized as an Outstanding Clinical Instructor at Sun Yat-sen University.
