Hao WANG
Dr. Wang Hao graduated from Guizhou Medical University in 2011 and subsequently joined the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University. He completed his standardized residency training and attending physician training in internal medicine in 2013 and 2014, respectively. He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common gastroenterological diseases and the emergency rescue of critical illnesses. In 2021, he was awarded and appointed as an Associate Chief Physician at the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University.
Prior to joining Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Dr. Wang worked at the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University for 10 years. In 2017, he pursued advanced studies in endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) at the Endoscopy Center of Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center. He is proficient in EUS examinations and EUS-guided fine-needle aspiration (EUS-FNA). In 2019, he visited the Naples Cancer Research Center in Italy on behalf of his hospital. In 2020, he participated in the “51st Workshop on Endoscopic Minimally Invasive Resection Technology” organized by the Endoscopy Center of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University in Shanghai.
Dr. Wang not only possesses extensive diagnostic and therapeutic experience in common, frequent, and difficult gastroenterological diseases, but is also proficient in gastroscopy and colonoscopy as well as related treatments (such as esophageal variceal ligation, gastric variceal tissue glue injection, EUS, EUS-FNA, EMR, ESD, dilation for benign and malignant gastrointestinal strictures, and stent placement for gastrointestinal tumors).
Furthermore, Dr. Wang Hao has achieved numerous research results in clinical scientific research. He has presided over departmental and municipal-level projects and participated in multiple provincial-level projects. He has published many articles in journals such as the Journal of Clinical Hepatology and the International Journal of Digestive Diseases. He also served as a member of the Gastrointestinal Disease Branch of the Guangdong Natural Medicine Research Association.
