Dr. Wu Yihang holds a doctorate in Endocrinology and completed advanced training in the Department of Endocrinology at Peking Union Medical College Hospital. From 2008 to 2009, he served as a state-sponsored visiting scholar at the Yale University School of Medicine.

With over 40 years of frontline clinical experience, Dr. Wu holds the title of Chief Physician (Level 3)—the highest professional rank—and serves as a supervisor for master’s degree candidates. He has spent his entire career practicing in Grade-A tertiary hospitals.

Dr. Wu specializes in innovative treatments for erectile dysfunction in male diabetic patients and the standardized diagnosis and management of endocrine and metabolic disorders—including diabetes, gout, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, thyroid nodules, dyslipidemia, and obesity. He possesses particular expertise in managing thyroid dysfunction before, during, and after pregnancy.

Dr. Wu possesses extensive professional knowledge and serves as a lead expert in interpreting high-end health check-up reports. He excels at analyzing health data to ensure every examinee receives reliable, appropriate, and tailored health solutions.

Dr. Wu has achieved significant academic success; he holds a PRC invention patent for a treatment method addressing erectile dysfunction in male diabetic patients and a PRC utility model patent for a self-ejecting insulin pen storage device. He has led and participated in numerous key national, provincial, and municipal research projects and published multiple high-quality papers in international medical journals.

Dr. Wu holds leadership positions in various domestic academic organizations. He has served as Vice Chair of the 1st and 2nd Committees of the Guangzhou Diabetes Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; Vice Chair of the 1st and 2nd Committees of the Food Safety and Nutrition Professional Committee under the Guangdong Health Management Society; and Standing Committee Member for the Endocrinology and Metabolism, Obesity and Weight Management, and Health Check-up Professional Committees of the Guangdong Health Management Society and the Guangdong Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. Additionally, he has served as a committee member for the Guangzhou Endocrinology Branch (1st–7th terms) and the Guangzhou Nutrition Branch (2nd–3rd terms) of the Chinese Medical Association.
