Jianlin Yu
Professor Yu Jianlin graduated from the Third Military Medical University in 1985 and subsequently joined Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University (formerly the Second Affiliated Hospital of the First Military Medical University). He currently serves as an Associate Chief Physician and Associate Professor at Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University.
Professor Yu has been engaged in clinical work in gastroenterology for over thirty years. He possesses a solid theoretical foundation and extensive clinical experience in the specialty, with strong capabilities in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult and critical digestive system diseases. He specializes in the endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases and has an in-depth understanding of the endoscopic characteristics of gastrointestinal disorders. He is proficient in routine gastrointestinal endoscopic operations and skilled in using endoscopy for early gastrointestinal cancer screening, hemostasis of digestive tract bleeding, dilation and stent placement for benign and malignant gastrointestinal lumen strictures, gastrointestinal polypectomy, endoscopic removal of bile duct stones, internal and external drainage for biliary and pancreatic diseases, as well as endoscopic surgical treatments such as EMR and ESD.
In 2019, Professor Yu was awarded the title of “Yangcheng Good Doctor” at the fifth session. He currently serves as a member of the Digestive Endoscopy Committee of the Guangdong Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a standing committee member of the Liver Cirrhosis Professional Committee of the Guangdong Liver Disease Association, a member of the Digestive Endoscopy Working Committee of the Guangdong Medical Doctor Association, and a member of the Biliary and Pancreatic Group of the Guangdong Digestive Endoscopy Society.
Professor Yu has co-authored two monographs: Modern Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment of the Digestive System and Modern Digestive System Tumors. He has published more than ten academic papers and won one Second Prize for Medical Results from the former First Military Medical University Hospital.
