Zhao Yang ZHOU
Dr. Zhou Chaoyang graduated from the Medical College of Nanhua University in 2006. Subsequently, he worked at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shaoyang University and Guangzhou Taihe Oncology Hospital. He is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common gastroenterological diseases and the rescue of critical cases. He is skilled in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and endoscopic treatments. In 2017, he obtained the qualification of Associate Chief Physician at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shaoyang University.
Before joining Guangzhou United Family Hospital, Dr. Zhou worked at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shaoyang University for over 10 years. He pursued advanced studies in EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasonography), EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasonography), and endoscopic treatments at the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, and studied ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) at Shanghai Changhai Hospital. He joined Guangzhou Taihe Oncology Hospital in December 2019 and worked there for nearly 5 years.
In addition to his extensive experience in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and gastroenterology, Dr. Zhou has deep expertise in the operation and treatment of gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, duodenoscopy, EUS, and EBUS. He is also highly skilled in the endoscopic treatment of common bile duct stones, endoscopic titanium clip hemostasis for massive gastrointestinal bleeding, esophageal variceal ligation, gastric fundal tissue glue injection hemostasis, gastrointestinal stent placement, and gastrostomy.
